Shopper bag. Simple stories. Bag sewing workshops.
As part of cooperation with higher education institutions LPP organised a series of workshops called „SHOPPER BAG. SIMPLE STORIES”. During five meetings at the turn of April and May 2019, the participants went through the whole process of creating bags, from inspiration-seeking stage to the actual sewing of final models. At the end of the project, a professional photo shoot of the newly-created collection was organised.
The „SHOPPER BAG. SIMPLE STORIES.” series, which is a result of cooperation between LPP and the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, was addressed to people who are passionate about fashion and design, and interested in the subject of designing and sewing. The classes were conducted by the Head Designer of Reserved-branded accessories, who focused on form, detail and accents during the workshops. The project participants were provided with environmentally friendly materials, including recycled polyester. In line with the concept of zero waste, the participants were also provided with tapes, fabric scraps and samples that had not yet been used in the design process in the LPP Product Preparation Department. The bags created during the workshops surprise with interesting shapes and details. The finale of the project was a professional photo shoot featuring the bags carried out in the LPP photo studio in Pruszcz Gdański, whose effects will perfectly complement the portfolios of the participants.
