The athleisure aesthetics is no longer only confined to the gym and has settled in to accompany us every step of the way, pampering us with comfort and multifunctionality. Comfortable tracksuits are worn all day long, not only at home – these clothes are adaptable to be worn on many occasions. They can be part of a casual outfit, play a new role at work, at meetings with friends or on holiday trips.
The Reserved Athleisure spring collection was created in response to the “new normal” or “new reality”. In the spirit of the changes that have taken place over the last year and have altered our approach to dressing, Reserved proposes a comfortable compromise whenever we feel like it. Athleisure is made for every woman, whether she leads a sporty lifestyle or just goes about her regular day. The idea is All day long: throw a cape over a soft dress and a quilted waistcoat over a tracksuit and you’re good to go. The answer to the new reality is not only about comfortable cuts, but also about the versatility of our homewear uniform.
The key to understanding the Reserved Athleisure concept is mix and match, i.e. a wide spectrum of pieces that can be combined in various ways. They match both aesthetically and in terms of colour, with a palette of soft, fresh pastels in tones of mint, sage, banana yellow and delicate pink, as well as neutral shades of beige and off white. There are some trendy sets: a soft structured suit in brick-red, classic tracksuits and their version with flared leg, shackets to match the trousers and tops with cycling shorts. All to be worn together or separately, styled as you wish. There are also knitted shorts, pencil skirts and large outer garments in the form of a long parka, a cape or an insulated quilted waistcoat with pockets. Most of the collection was sewn from #EcoAware materials, including organic cotton, recycled polyester and recycled polyamide. An added value is the non-creasing crushed fabric, so we can pack the clothes in a bag and wear them straight away, without ironing. Another practical aspect of the collection is that all fastenings have been kept to a minimum – only when absolutely necessary.
Reserved Athleisure has been designed to perform in a wide variety of everyday tasks. Today, more than ever, we choose alternative means of transport such as bicycles and scooters, spend more time outdoors and walks are the essence of social life.
