LPP, together with Trzebownisko Municipality, awarded scholarships for primary school students

On 5 October 2022, during a ceremony at the Centre for Culture and Arts in Łąka, students from primary schools in the Trzebownisko municipality received scholarships for special achievements in the 2021/22 school year. The awards granted in the presence of representatives of the local government, parents and the LPP company are part of a programme inaugurated this year by the Municipality in partnership with the Polish clothing company.

Since the beginning of its presence in the Podkarpacie region, LPP has been pursuing goals going beyond just pure business goals. As part of its involvement in a number of social projects announced in June this year, the company, in cooperation with the local authorities, funded the first scholarships for students from primary schools in the Trzebownisko municipality.

At LPP, we know how important it is to support young people at the beginning of their journey in developing their passions and skills, while at the same time giving them space to broaden their horizons. In addition to their enthusiasm for learning, young people have an important voice and are the initiators of good social change, which has a great impact on shaping future generations. We hope that our involvement will be a real support for students from the Trzebownisko commune in their further education and development of their talents emphasises Jacek Kujawa, president of the management board of LPP Logistics.

The scholarship programme implemented by the local authorities is aimed at students who achieve academic, artistic and sporting success, as well as those who are involved in the social matters of the community. During a gala ceremony at the Centre for Culture and Arts in Łąka, Lesław Kuźniar, Head of the Trzebownisko Municipality, and Jarosław Bańda, representative of the LPP management board, presented diplomas and awards to 30 students from grades IV-VIII who will receive 10-month scholarships for special achievements in the 2021/22 school year.

We do hope that the scholarships, awarded with the support of LPP, will allow students from our municipality to further develop their passions and interests. At the same time, we would like them to be motivated to achieve even better results in their school life and deepen their knowledge. We would like to congratulate all this year’s scholarship holders and wish them further success adds Dr Sławomir Porada, Deputy Head of the Trzebownisko Municipality.

The involvement of the Polish clothing manufacturer in the life of the local communities in the areas of its key investments is permanently inscribed in the company’s strategy. In the Trzebownisko municipality, the company also undertakes many initiatives, in particular for its youngest residents. Later this year, the company plans to launch a pilot edition of the School Daycare Centre Support Programme, which includes the organisation of extra-curricular activities and the “Wyprawka dla pierwszaka” (School starter kit) project, i.e. gift packs for all pupils starting primary school.

The long-term development prospects of the LPP Group in the region are related to the construction of a new logistics facility for e-commerce services in the Trzebownisko municipality. It will be operated by LPP Logistics, a company established this year and in charge of managing the supply and distribution network of the Polish group, which currently includes warehousing facilities with a total area of nearly 400,000 sq m. The company also provides comprehensive and modern warehousing, freight and distribution services.
