Le Petit Trou x Reserved – Tiny Pleasures
Spring in full bloom is the right moment to present the outcome of cooperation with the Polish brand, Le Petit Trou. Reserved and Le Petit Trou have joined their creative forces and designed a capsule with unique lingerie in the lead role. What is the message of the collection? Pampering yourself with small things, such as, for example, beautiful lingerie.
The concept highlights the aspect of the joy of life derived from femininity and its affirmation on a daily basis. Lingerie quite often remains in the sphere of mystery – hidden under the clothes and letting us know its presence only from time to time. Meanwhile, its power can be immense: it can boost your self-confidence or improve your mood, even though only we are aware of its existence. ‘For a Le Petit Trou woman, lingerie is as important as the clothes. She is fond of herself and of fashion, she has a healthy distance to herself and is aware that by buying the lingerie, she pampers herself and this is her great power,’ says Zuza Kuczyńska, the brand’s founder. ‘I am very happy that together with Reserved we have been able to transfer the DNA of our Le Petit Trou style to our joint collection. I hope that the results will be satisfactory both for the Reserved and Le Petit Trou clients,’ she adds.
Le Petit Trou x Reserved skilfully intertwines the romantic and carefree themes, encouraging exploration of the beauty of female bodies and playing with fashion, also with the use of lingerie. Hence the gentle pastel colours, the charming, subtle graphic and decorative motifs and the soft frills decorating bras and panties. There is also the characteristic element of the cut from which the entire history of Le Petit Trou began in 2014, namely the tiny cut in every type of panties.
The collection comprises ten models: three lingerie sets, a bodysuit, a pyjama-style set and a dress. There are diverse bra cuts, fastened at the back or at the front with gold hooks and clients can choose a model that suits them best. The shapes of the panties also differ in style, cut and material from which they were made. The offer includes transparent panties with embroidery and slightly more audacious high-waist panties decorated with a silk insert and a soft flock.
The bodysuit is fully transparent, ready to be worn solo or combined with a jacket or a shirt. There is also a pyjama made of soft viscose, with cuffs decorated with frills, excellent not only for daily styling, but also for special occasions. The collection also features a white cotton dress – the quintessence of a romantic summer, decorated with colourful embroidery, ample, cut off under the bust and with straps.
The colours encompass feminine pastel shades, such as pink or honey beige, with blue and red highlights in small embroidered items and with contrasting themes of red and white. The bright pink net features raspberries made of flock. The beige net has subtle embroidered panties, in diverse colours. The black one is covered with lemons, lips and small flies, because lingerie should not be treated too seriously (let it make you smile). These patterns reference the DNA of the Le Petit Trou brand, freshly re-interpreted and re-designed. Transparent surfaces are mixed with silk and plain surfaces are combined with decorative frills. Items with sewn-in elastic band make the adjustment of clothes to various silhouette types possible.
The entire Le Petit Trou x Reserved collection was manufactured in Poland. It is made of high quality and nice-to-touch fabrics, including gentle silk and thick viscose. The fabrics are perfect for the frills and creases characteristic for Le Petit Trou and offer an excellent pretext to reveal the secrets of the layer that is closest to the body. ‘I think that the place of lingerie in fashion is essential. We see more and more of it on the catwalks. A bra instead of a blouse, accompanied by a jacket – this is the type of look that we see more and more often in the street. Lingerie has become a fixed part of our daily outfits,’ says Zuza Kuczyńska.
The photographs for the image campaign and the video were made by the Spanish photographer Coke Bartrina, while the model was Nuria Val. The frames, filled with soft sunlight, are an excellent match for the character of Le Petit Trou: casual, relaxed and sensuous. The photo set was located in Catalonia.
Le Petit Trou x Reserved is available from XS to XL sizes for lingerie and pyjamas, and from XS to L for the dress. The prices of the items are within the range from PLN 99 to 399. The collection is available as of 25 April in on-line stores and in the Reserved application.
