LPP annual reports with awards
In the annual competition organised by the Institute of Accountancy and Taxes – The Best Annual Report – LPP won two awards. The Sustainability Report and the Report of the Management Board on the Operations of the LPP SA Group received the distinctions.
The Best Annual Report is a competition that has been organised by the Institute of Accountancy and Taxes for eighteen years. The main objective is to promote the annual reports with the highest use value for shareholders and investors. This way, the organisers promote activities aimed at increasing the security of the capital market in Poland and at shaping good practices in financial reporting by public companies.
At this year’s gala, two awards were received by LPP representatives. Patrycja Zbytniewska, social policy and non-financial reporting leader, received the Special Award for Corporate Sustainability Report. The jury recognised the 2022/23 Sustainability Report for the comprehensiveness of the publication, taking into account both taxonomic disclosures, opportunities and risks, climate scenarios, as well as human rights activities.
– The award is an acknowledgement of the hard work done by members of all the departments of our company responsible for producing the report. In each successive edition, we refine our report in terms of its content, in line with international reporting standards, but also visually, responding to the expectations of our stakeholders, employees, and management – says Patrycja Zbytniewska, social policy and non-financial reporting leader at LPP, president of the LPP Foundation.
The second distinction was awarded to the Gdańsk-based company in the Best Management Report category. The LPP Group Management Report was recognised for its excellent, out-of-the-box text structuring, conciseness, concreteness, building a picture of success and explaining its roots, as well as great progress in reporting.
– Annual reporting aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the company’s standing, define the current position and outline plans, prospects, and direction. Contact with shareholders, to whom our report is ultimately addressed, requires a well thought-out formula so that all relevant data and processes are clearly presented. We are very pleased that the form in which we do this has been appreciated – says Magdalena Kopaczewska, investor relations director, who received the award.
Both awarded reports can be found on the LPP website:
