Sinsay and LPP awarded at CEE Retail Awards

For the seventeenth time, Europaproperty.com has presented the CEE Retail Awards to the best entities on the commercial real estate market in Central and Eastern Europe. The Gdańsk-based company was given an award in the Online Retailer category. Sinsay, the newest brand in the LPP portfolio, received the title of Best Fashion Retailer over 500 sq.m.
This year the seventeenth CEE Retail Awards gala was held. The awards are granted by europaproperty.com, a publisher of magazines and organiser of commercial real estate events. The jury appreciated companies whose activities have influenced the dynamics of the development and competitiveness of retail trade in the region. During the gala statuettes were awarded in more than 40 categories.
LPP has once again won the award in the Online Retailer category. The jury recognised the Group for the consistent development of its online channel. In the third quarter of last year alone, the Gdańsk-based company recorded an increase in e-commerce sales of over 35 per cent in constant currencies, and cumulatively over 9 months the growth rate reached nearly 24 per cent. The very good results were influenced, for example, by the development of mobile applications that all LPP brands on the Polish market already have.
The tool is also successively implemented on other foreign markets, and today Sinsay collections are available in the mobile application in nine markets outside of Poland, Reserved in seven, and Mohito in two. In countries where the Sinsay app was available, it generated an average of 70% of online sales. In the case of Reserved it was 55%, while the total number of downloads of LPP brands’ apps already reached almost 40 million.

– This year’s awards are particularly important to us. On the one hand, it is a confirmation of our achievements in the online channel that we have been consistently developing for several years across all our brands. On the other hand, it is a testament to the success of Sinsay, a brand that especially recently we have been developing the fastest, and for which we have the most ambitious plans for the near future. We intend to open another 1,500 Sinsay stores in Poland and abroad by the end of 2025. This means almost doubling the brand’s existing offline potential – says Piotr Bakiera, International Director of Leasing and Expansion at Sinsay, who accepted both statuettes.
The awards in all CEE Retail Awards categories are granted by a jury consisting of shopping centre directors, representatives of key tenants, representatives of large retail agencies, owners of commercial facilities, investors and developers.
