What does a merchandising controller do?
A merchandising controller (a.k.a. product analyst) prepares reports and analyses on current and forecast sales, and co-creates and implements operational action plans based on the analysis of results. Their responsibilities include the planning of discounts and promotional campaigns, day-to-day control of deliveries and the method of distribution, as well as supporting the product teams in product analysis and the correct estimation of orders.
How to become a merchandising controller at LPP?
One of the key skills for this position is knowledge of Excel at an advanced level. Communication skills and experience in working with data analysis and preparing summaries and reports are also important.
For this position, we are looking for people who have good organisational skills and are methodical but also interested in working in a creative, fast-paced environment. We also require a communicative command of English. Experience in the fashion industry is not required, but would certainly be an advantage
