Store manager's deputy/assistant ensures that sales and KPI targets are achieved using the available channels and tools, and organises the day-to-day work of the team in accordance with top-down standards and guidelines. This also involves supporting the director/manager in recruiting, implementing and motivating the team as well as replacing them in their absence. Other tasks include ensuring that inventory losses are minimised and works in accordance with the procedures and standards, while setting an example for other employees.
