LPP Group supports students from the Trzebownisko Municipality

For the second time, LPP Group, a Polish clothing producer, in cooperation with the authorities of the Trzebownisko Municipality, supported students starting school in local primary schools. As part of this year’s edition of the “School starter kit for a first-graders” project, 320 first-graders from nine schools received sets of school supplies and gifts. LPP, through the LPP Foundation, has also once again subsidised scholarships for talented primary and secondary school students, recognising their special achievements.

In the latest edition of the “School starter kit for a first-graders” project, students from schools in Zaczernie, Nowa Wieś, Stobierna, Trzebownisko, Łąka, Łukawiec, Wólka Podleśna and Jasionka received gift sets. School supplies, art materials, colourful bags and reflective key rings were given to 320 children during first-grade oath ceremonies organised in local educational facilities in the presence of parents, teachers, local government, and LPP Group representatives.

– We are pleased that during the two years of our presence in the Trzebownisko Municipality we have become part of the local community, providing not only new jobs, but also acting for the benefit of its youngest residents. We hope that the school starter kits will make the beginning of school more pleasant and will help them to enter the school year with energy and optimism. In addition, as the LPP Foundation, we were happy to become involved in funding scholarships for talented students. This is the second edition of the programme through which we support children and young people in the pursuit of individual passions and interests. We believe that in this way we are contributing to the development of further skills while cheering them on in their efforts. We hope that in the future, too, we will be able to continue creating similar projects together with the municipality – comments Patrycja Zbytniewska, president of the LPP Foundation.

This year, as part of the next edition of the project, scholarships were awarded to 40 male and female students from the Trzebownisko Municipality: 15 from primary schools and 25 from secondary schools. The scholarships were presented during a ceremony at Dwór Ostoja, attended by local authorities and LPP Group representatives.

Not only are we continuing with two valuable projects for children and young people with the LPP Group, but we are also taking our cooperation to the next level. School starter kits for first graders put more than 300 smiles on children’s faces. The second project is scholarships; this year, for the first time, they were awarded not only to primary school pupils, but also to secondary school students. We reward school achievements, academic, artistic and sporting successes, as well as active involvement in the local community – says  dr Sławomir Porada, head of the Trzebownisko Municipality.

The LPP Group has been involved in initiatives for the local community since the beginning of its activities in the Trzebownisko Municipality. Another edition of the “School starter kit for first-graders” project and the funding of scholarships are activities that have become a staple in the company’s social activities in the region.
