LPP recognised as retail industry leader at the Future Retail Awards

The PTWP Group, publisher of several leading industry portals in Poland and specialist press magazines, presented the Future Retail Awards. In doing so, it recognised a select group of companies and retail chains that are helping to build a better future for the retail industry in Poland. By decision of the jury, the Future Retail Award 2025 in the Retail Leader category was awarded to LPP.

On 24 February this year, the Future Retail Awards were presented in Warsaw to companies with an innovative approach to business in the retail and e-commerce industry. As emphasised during the statuette awarding gala, contemporary commerce is the pulse of society. In today’s world, market leaders are those who can sense this pulse and offer customers solutions that keep pace with the changes happening in their lives.

The competition jury, made up of the editorial board of DlaHandlu .pl website, selected a total of three competition categories –ESG Leader Award, Digital Leader Award and Retail Leader Award. In the last of these, the statuette was awarded to LPP.

As emphasised in the justification, the Group was awarded the title of “Retail Industry Leader” for its impressive foreign expansion, which has become a model for many Polish companies and has led to the Gdańsk-based company’s presence in 41 global markets. The Group’s foreign investments have enabled Polish fashion to gain an exceptionally strong position in the Central and Eastern European region.

This recognises the intensive development plan that LPP has announced for the near future. The Polish clothing and accessories manufacturer plans to double the Group’s sales by 2023 over the next two years. This will be accompanied by an intensive expansion of the physical stores network, which is expected to include 4,400 stores in Europe and beyond by the end of 2025. As part of an ambitious investment plan, the company aims to heavily focus on the development of its newest brand and open 1,500 Sinsay stores and around 100 stores for other brands in just 12 months, for which it wants to allocate a total of PLN 2.3 billion.
