New neutral. Reserved Men Lookbook for spring 2021

New neutral. Reserved Men Lookbook for spring 2021

Today, more than ever, what really counts is comfort and versatile clothing that is ready to last well beyond the season. Inspired by uniforms and tried and tested classics, comfortable and practical cuts are currently one of the strongest trends in men’s fashion. The Reserved lookbook presents all the essentials for a quick update of every man’s wardrobe. Thom Voorintholt was the face of the lookbook, Ewelina Gralak was responsible for the styling, and Krzysztof Frankiewicz and Aleksandra Rożniata, who work as the Frankiewicz & Rozniata duo, dividing their time between London and Paris, photographed it all.

Reserved spring propositions for men include light jackets, sports suits, casual shirts, chino trousers and cargo pants. For cooler days – a quilted waistcoat. For rain – a transparent coat with the inscription “Enjoy the rain” on the back. This is an unconventional inspiration from Scandinavia and the Scandinavian saying: “There is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing” which encourages to take advantage even of theoretically not-so-pleasing weather conditions.

Layering and the possibility of various combinations of individual modules play an important role here. The colour scheme remains neutral, although inspired by nature in its exotic version. Shades of clay, the saturated blue of a warm sea, bleached greens, olive, khaki and classic beige, off white, and classic black. Details? An overscaled high jacket collar, overlapping safari-style pockets (also on the sleeves), contrast stitching, and visible zip fastenings. Accessories continue the utilitarian theme. Statement sneakers and white trainers, a waist pack with pockets and concealed fastening and a capacious black weekend bag are timeless accessories in a modern, very up-to-date version.

The spring 2021 collection will be available in selected stationary stores and online at https://www.reserved.com from 16.03.2021.
