Styling Campaign at LPP – fashion for equal social opportunities
Styling Campaign is a new project from the LPP Foundation, designed to help those young people at risk of social exclusion to build self-confidence and to show that everyone is unique. During meetings organised on a regular basis at the company’s headquarters in Gdańsk, participants have the opportunity to create outfits with clothes from LPP brands, assisted by stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists, and to take part in a professional photo shoot. The project is open to non-governmental organisations from Gdańsk working for disadvantaged children and young people.
The Styling Campaign gives participants the opportunity to create their own outfits using clothes from LPP brands: Reserved, Sinsay, Mohito, House and Cropp, with assistance from stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists, and to take part in a professional photo shoot. The project seeks to boost participants’ self-esteem and help them discover their own individuality. Events as part of the campaign are cyclical, scheduled for the winter and summer.
Up to 30 people can take part in each edition at a time. Four events have been held so far, with more than 100 participants affiliated to three organisations: EFC Foundation, the 180 Stopni Association and the Mrowisko Society for Environmental Prevention.
– The Styling Campaign supports visual transformation and provides a space to build relationships and spend time in a good atmosphere. We are happy to see that the commitment and ingenuity of the volunteers, LPP employees, makes it possible to create outfits that let young people feel special – says Patrycja Zbytniewska, president of the LPP Foundation.
The initiative is local and held at the headquarters of the Gdańsk-based company, in the Dolne Miasto district. It is run with support from volunteer LPP employees. Interest in the project is growing, and more than 2,300 items of clothing were donated in the first edition.
– It would be hard to find a better example of how you can positively influence young people’s self-esteem and personal development through fun and creativity. For many participants, it is a unique opportunity to get to know new, friendly people, who assist them in a fully professional way as they work on their self-expression. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to LPP and everyone involved in organising this event for their time, support and the heart they put into preparing this great initiative – said Małgorzata Białogłowska, manager of the Mrowisko Day Support Centre – Reduta Centre.
Organisations interested in taking part in the Styling Campaign are invited to contact the LPP Foundation by email at fundacja@lpp.com. Applications will be accepted until 15 October. A total of four organisations working with children and young people at risk of social exclusion will be selected to participate in the 2025 project.
