The Integrated Report of LPP as the winner of the Social Reports 2019 competition
In the 13th edition of the competition for the best reports on corporate social responsibility and sustainable development organized by the Responsible Business Forum Association and Deloitte Polska, the title of the Best Integrated Report went to LPP. The publication “Global brand, Polish company” was also honoured with the Stock Exchange Award and distinguished in the category of Journalists’ Jury Award.
The report “Global Brand, Polish Company” was granted the highest number of points by the competition jury in the 13th edition of the Social Reports 2019 competition. What was appreciated was, first of all, a thoughtful way of presenting the topics, their accessibility and an interesting approach to the issues showing both positive and negative areas of the company’s influence. The report was also distinguished by its graphic attractiveness and interesting presentation of the development of the entire company and its growing aspirations. In the justification, the competition jury also drew attention to the progress made by LPP as regards reporting in relation to the previous publication, which in 2018 was awarded in the Debut category.
– Receiving the main award and the title of the best integrated report is a very important distinction for us. We have been working on sustainable development for many years, but we have only been reporting on it for two years. It is all the more gratifying that our report has been so highly appreciated. Our sustainable development strategy applies to all processes in the company. Such a holistic approach allows us to create a real, significant change, which has been clearly noticed in this competition – comments Anna Miazga, the sustainable development expert in LPP.
In the 13th edition, 45 publications competed. Among them there were 15 debuts, i.e. reports issued by organisations for the first time, 11 integrated reports and 8 reports of non-business institutions.
The reports were evaluated by a wide group of experts, including representatives of the Polish Economic Institute, the Academy of Philanthropy in Poland, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Polish Association of Listed Companies, the Ministry of Investment and Development, the Federation of Consumers, the Warsaw Stock Exchange, organizations associating Polish employers and representatives of universities such as the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw School of Economics, or the University of Economics in Wrocław.
During the gala, apart from the category of the best integrated report, prizes were also awarded for the best social report, the best report according to internet users, the award of the Ministry of Investment and Development, a distinction of the Journalists’ Jury and the award for the best report according to the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The last two laurels also went to LPP for last year’s report “Global Brand, Polish Company”.
