Changes to the LPP Management Board

The LPP SA Management Board announced that on December 8, 2014, Dariusz Pachla resigned from his duties as Vice-President of the Management Board, effective December 31, 2014. Mr. Pacha will continue his employment at LPP SA.

“My decision was not made because of professional reasons. I will recommend that my post be filled by a close colleague of mine – Przemysław Lutkiewicz, who has served as our company’s Financial Controller for six years,” commented Pachla. “I’m remaining with LPP, and hope to support the Management Board as a member of the Supervisory Board, starting in mid-2015.”

Marek Piechocki, President of the Management Board, and Jerzy Lubianiec, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, as the major shareholders of LPP SA, offered Mr. Pachla a position on the Supervisory Board. Given Mr. Pachla’s acceptance, Mr. Piechocki, will submit a motion to appoint Dariusz Pachla a member of the LPP SA Supervisory Board – prior to the upcoming General meeting of Shareholders.

At the same time, during the next Supervisory Board meeting scheduled for December 10, 2014, the President of the Management Board will submit Mr. Lutkiewicz’s candidacy for the position of Vice-President of the Management Board with responsibility for the Company’s financial management. Mr. Lutkiewicz has worked closely with Mr. Pachla, the outgoing vice-president, and has been with the Company for six years, currently serving as Financial Controller.

LPP SA Financial Controller since 2008. As a member of the Finance Department, Mr. Lutkiewicz established the Controlling Department which monitors the work of analysts, auditors and security units within the sales networks. He implemented the use of IT tools for management information needed to direct all of the companies forming the LPP SA group of companies. He was also active in foreign institutional investor relations.

He started his career in 1994 at Powszechny Bank Kredytowy SA. From 1995 until 2008, he worked for PolCard SA / First Data Polska SA. where he held posts from Financial Planning and Reporting Unit Manager to Financial Planning and Controlling Director. In 2006-2007, he was a member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of First Data Polska SA.

In 2007-2008, he was active in establishing First Data’s Shared Services Centre in Gdańsk, serving as Finance and Controlling Director.

Born in 1970, he is a graduate of Gdynia Maritime University  and of the Faculty of Management at Gdańsk University, as well as of Postgraduate Studies at Gdańsk University of Technology. He is married with two daughters. Long-distance running (including marathons) is his passion.
